Benares,

or Varanasi, India's holy city, bordered by the Ganges, is also renowned throughout India and around the world for its unique weaving techniques. The craftsmanship of its artisans is simply breathtaking.

The encounters with hand weavers spanning several generations were among the most emotionally intense.

The collection Benarès is simply an ode to this captivating and luxurious ancestral weaving technique. Each fabric is completely unique, hand-woven and embellished with designs that are often complexes tissés  Jacquard.

One of the main characteristics of Banarès fabrics is their mixed weave of silk and gold or silver metallic fibres.  It enchants your interiors with depth and richness.
